I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verkada (San Mateo, CA)
Interview
Standard interview process with different members of the marketing team. Various questions about my experience and ideas. There wasn’t a clear process/breakdown on what category of questions each person was supposed to cover so a lot of repeating answers.

Question 1
How do you drive traffic to your booth on-site and ensure a low cost per lead?
Recruited to discuss field marketing manager role. We had about a 45 minute call set up. A good portion of the call was the recruiter talking about Verkada and a bit about the role and why it was being filled.
Meh interview, not technical at all. Really focused on events experience. The recruiting team is very aggressive and is driven by a quota that they need to meet. This means that there isn't really a quality interview or option to actually understand the company.
The screening call went phenomenal. Recruiter seemed friendly enough and we scheduled a set date and time for the next interview the following week. He said he would email me by the end of the day.
nothing,
I emailed him that friday thanking him for the interview and his time, and asked for confirmation on our next interview time and date.
Nothing.
Followed up with him on Tuesday one last time (day before next interview)
Nothing.
I was really unimpressed with the lack of communication, I definitely would not have minded if I had been told they moved on with a different candidate, but ghosting AFTER setting up another interview? That's shady.
