I applied online. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret
Interview
Applying online was extensive and annoying but it pretty much is for any part time job. aka. I submitted a resume but still had to fill out all of the job history, education and stuff on my own anyway.
Interview included pretty simple questions, really just felt like a conversation.
Asked logical questions for a customer service job
Was interviewed in the middle of the mall because the office space was small and we would be disrupted by employees, only slightly awkward- just don't think about other people around you
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: [given a tough customer situation such as an angry customer yelling], How would you handle it?
Q: Why do you want to work here?
Q: Weaknesses and Strengths
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
