I was contacted after submitting an online application. After a brief telephone interview I was told to come in for a face to face with two store managers. The face to face went well and I was told to then come back for a second and final face to face with one of the original managers I had met with and a new manager. This interview went well also and I was told if I was hired I would get a call by the end of the week. I received a call congratulating me by the end of the week, the original manager I had met with told me I was hired and congrats but they wanted me to meet with the store's district manager to make sure that I was given the right position based on my background and skill level, I agreed to meet the DM, she told me when to do so and congratulated me again and said welcome to the team. I met with the DM the following Friday along with the manager I met at the second face to face interview, everything went well and they said I would get a call by the end of the day. I never received a call and after calling twice the following week and leaving my name and number in regards to the status, I then received a completely automated email, regarding a position I didn't even apply for, thanking me for my time but letting me know they were continuing on with other candidates. Obviously, very confused, I called the store to seek verification considering I was already told I was hired, only to end up leaving my name and number yet again. Still no call back at all for verification, the most unprofessional and confusing hiring process I have ever experienced. I really hope they treat their clients better than their perspective employees.
