I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (London, England) in Sep 2018
Interview
Applied online for the store in Brent Cross and within a few days I received a phone call from a women asking me questions about availability and what job I currently had; she then asked me to come in a few days later to the store for an interview. I assumed I'd be involved in a group interview but when I arrived it was with the women who called me and another worker. They asked me questions about why Victoria Secret etc. and then asked me to pick items from a box and complete a transaction with a customer and mention that they were offering a free gift wrapping service (in this case it was the worker I had to do this with) which threw me off, as I didn't know if I was picking the right clothing/items or not (think that part of the interview would have been better if I was given a scenario - like if it was for a friend or girlfriend in regards to what I had to pick instead of randomly picking clothing but I blame myself). In the end the women thanked me and said she'd let me know "soon" of her decision. It's been 2 weeks now and I haven't received anything, not even a rejection email so I'm assuming I didn't get the job but failed to inform me.
Interview was fairly easy. My hiring manager had me there on the spot for onboarding. Process went fairly quickly, and I was trained shortly after. I started on the week of black Friday which was a little rough, but it wasn't too bad. My hiring manager was kind but some of the other managers aren't as nice.

Interview
I have never felt more disrespected and belittled in an interview in my life. My job history was ridiculed, my character was ridiculed. I’m well above the age of being a minor and I was talked down to as such. My interview lasted a whopping 7 minutes.. I was 10 minutes early… I do not remember the name of the woman who interviewed me, but I highly recommend finding anyone else to interview candidates. She didn’t know how to talk to me without a condescending tone and attitude, and what was expected, schedule wise, of the position was not fully mentioned in the job listing. I filled out the application on Victoria’s Secrets’ website, filled out the availability form online, but still was made to refill it out in person and reiterated my entire job history. The job history I filled out manually on their website, and then attached the file for my resume. Still, I was made to reiterate the last 3 job I had, was stopped before the forth job, and belittled that all I have to show is seasonal work. My interviewer had no want to get to know me or my circumstances. She did not care about the interview process and she treated me like I was wasting her time even though the store had 0 customers at the time. If she was willing to treat and talk to me like that during interview, how would I had been treated after I was hired?
