I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Allen, TX) in Dec 2015
Interview
Group interview with two other girls. Asked no more than 5 questions and the interview wasn't more than 10 minutes. It was quick, efficient, and didn't seem like they really cared what we had to say, they cared more about just hiring someone to start the next day. They needed only one reference and it didn't need to be a professional one, if they reference didn't answer you didn't get hired. When I asked about training they said they would train me eventually but to just wing it for the time being.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
