The first red flag was when I was asked to come in for an interview despite the application via LinkedIn stating that it would be a remote interview process. None the less I drove 40 minutes for what in the job
description seemed like an typical marketing position for the company. Once I arrive and have a short introduction, she says “and I will be straight forward
with you this is a position you will be going door to door, is that something you would be comfortable with?”. Why was this not on the job description? Why did I waste a day prepping and driving to an interview for door to door sales? If you are going to waste candidates time, do it over zoom so it’s less of an inconvenience. Be straight forward and not try to trick people into doing a job that simply isn’t what is being advertised.
