Had two stages to my interview process; online video interview and an assessment centre. Video Interview Pre-recorded video interview where questions appear on an online platform. You are given 30-60 seconds (I think) to prepare for the question until it starts recording where you have a maximum time (2 minutes or so) to give your answer. Questions were a mix of interesting maths, specific knowledge, and about you and your motivations. Assessment Centre For this day I was asked to produce a short 5 minute presentation to introduce me to the recruitment team and 4 other candidates. We also had an introductory talk from the recruiter about the company and what they do. Then there was the first team exercise which involved creative thinking to do a seemingly simple task (I won't give away what it is because where's the fun in that). After this we had a free lunch which was very nice and had an opportunity to talk to some young graduate employees as well as the other candidates. There was also another group exercise which was a 'Sally lives next door to the person with a blue car, work out who has the parrot' sort of thing. We also had a tour and technical interview which involved talking about your motivations for applying to the role, your understanding of their BroadSeis technology, and looking at a seismic section.
