Interview
Not an interview where you talk to a person live, but there is a video introduction by the person in charge of the hiring process.
You click a button to start a timer and reveal the question. You then have 2-3 minutes to consider your answer before you have to record a video answer which is a few minutes long (question dependent).
There are 7 questions, 2 of which were applying simple maths/wave physics and 5 of which were more talky.
The website was functional on the Firefox browser which is what I used. I did not like having to make an account for the website just to do an interview.
There is a sense of pressure when starting the timer and of course when preparing an answer and speaking, but the questions and structure are forgiving enough. It would help the interviewee to have have written up and thought about past experiences and what skills they demonstrated with each beforehand.
The maths/wave questions are not forewarned of or separated from the talky ones, which is somewhat of a surprise if you aren't expecting them.
One of the main appeals is that the interview is relatively short and also has no overall time limit (only ones during each question) which makes it less of a drain on time, less exhausting and more relaxed.
I got useful and detailed feedback in return despite not being accepted.
