Interview for a role before, and wasn't selected of the basis that I "didn't have much to be trained on, and they wanted someone they could teach". I was also told that they "Didn't want me to be bored", even though I applied and was more than enthused to participate and spoke on that multiple times. Was later reached out to again after the candidate whom they chose to teach, left and they said it was difficult having to teach them so much. Did an initial screening with manager and it went well, so well a verbal offer was given. At the last minute the director of the company wanted to interview me additionally. Which is no problem, but I was informed it was more of a final interview. Upon entering this final interview, I had to be coached on this director (speaking on their antics within the office and how intimidating they can be). I was cautious but still excited. Within the interview this director was asking questions about internal things that I would not have previous exposure to more understanding based on the company site and social. The director wasn't welcoming, and badgered me with who they wanted the candidate to be and what they thought of my responses. Honestly, a horrible experience AND I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Not only was I not prepared for the person, but looking at the company maybe from a diversity standpoint I wasn't who that director wanted to be in front of clients. It is very sad to see and know in this day and age. I wish the team well and hope they can round out and be more informed when preparing candidates.

Virtru's interview process is incredibly quick and efficient. I met with HR for a screen, then the hiring manager and two teammates. It took about a week to go through the whole process -- definitely the fastest and most positive interview process I've ever had.

Interview
The first round was a phone call with the company’s internal recruiter. She gave me an overview of the role and company, including benefits, as a whole, and asked me pretty standard questions about my background.
Second round was a call with the hiring manager who dove a little deeper into the position and the team and asked more specific questions about projects I’ve worked on in the past. This was then followed by an informal written exercise to demonstrate my creative thinking.
The third and final round was an onsite interview with the CMO and a senior member of the marketing team. Both were extremely personable and were interested in hearing about specifics of past projects, my preferred work style, etc. I could tell they wanted to make sure I would be a good cultural fit too which I very much appreciated.
The whole process took about 2-3 weeks and was very smooth!
Questions were average difficulty and I felt like I could be myself the whole time. No complaints here!
