Recruiter applied to this role for me, the start of the process did not involve any sort of intro call, just an email asking me to take an over hour long coding assessment. The content itself had nothing to do with the tech listed in the job responsibilities, basically just algorithms...very impersonal and kind of odd considering the role itself.
