Virtu Financial interview questions

It was a nice experience. The interviewers were attentive and helpful in explaining questions. The first round interview consisted mostly of probability brainteasers, regression assumptions, and basic statistics. The second round was mainly algorithm based and coding on hackerrank.

The process began with an online Python test, where I scored 10/10. After that, I had a short 20-minute HR interview including two brain-teaser questions, which went well. The final stage was a one-hour interview focused on discussing my CV and past projects in detail. The process itself felt a bit unstructured, and I believe a misunderstanding during the final interview affected the outcome, as my comments about past applications were misinterpreted as a lack of interest in the role.
