The first interview was over video with a consultant and was mostly behavioral questions. After that 5 on site back to back interviews in the Sunnyvale office with different level of consultants. I had a very unprofessional experience with VISA interview for the Poland Position.
Not everyone is a master of jack and the way each of us approach a problem will be different. In the first call, I had a initial screen from the Poland HR and the discussions were healthy & she promised to touch base for next technical round.
So here is were I had a negative experience. The interviewers were from Singapore and the session started straight away to a problem solving just after my brief introduction.
Question: Growing stream of Integers - Find the third largest number at any point. I guessed few algorithms and voiced out however they expected a solution... So I went on to describe about it in my approach of sorting the first set and creating a new subset & further sort the incoming numbers into the subset and maintain the order... While I was thinking further on this can be further to be done in a better way.,
One of the interviewer was like closing his mouth and laughing - Literally mocking the approach I was proposing. That was the point I lost myself with the session and wanted to quit abruptly. yet stayed professional until to the end and came out.
Post that situation, It really hit me hard and I was already in a mindset to not join a company with such work culture. Worst Interview experience. Indeed I have summarised on this incident with the HR team of Visa, Poland.
Next step, irrespective of the interview outcome - Went to the Job application and withdrew my profile.

I had a disappointing experience interviewing with Visa. The interviewer didn’t attend multiple scheduled interviews, even though I had to follow US timezone. The process feel unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.
Given Visa’s reputation, I expected better handling of candidate interviews. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression, and I lost respect for the company’s hiring process.
