      Senior Product Manager Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Visa Inc. in Mar 2022

      Interview

Recd an email asking for time and was scheduled for 2, 30 min interviews with 2 other peer and reporting employee. The recruiter had left Visa before I interviewed so there was no point of contact which meant it was not communicated what the process is like and also no timeframe communicated. One of them was good was cold and extremely curt to the effect that it clearly meant not progressive intent. JD didnt match what they were looking for although I qualified, I was unhappy with the lack of professionalism. Needless to say, i never recd a response for any questions I have before the interview but the rejection took barely 2 hours to communicate. Felt that was a bit odd.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Visa Inc. in Jul 2026

      Interview

Applied for a Senior Product Manager role and completed detailed screening questions via email before being invited to a recruiter screening call. The conversation quickly shifted away from the role I had applied for and towards a vague "potential" future opportunity with the same team that couldn't be clearly explained. We even discussed a possible salary range (the recruiter negotiated me down), but there was no job description, no defined role, and no concrete next steps. I was told I would need to apply if the role became available. After the call, I received no update, so I followed up. But no response. I then saw online a less senior Product Manager role with the same team that had opened. I applied and let the recruiter know as it looked like it was the role she hinted about, then followed up again two weeks later after hearing nothing. Two weeks after that, the only response I received was an automated rejection email. The recruiter I spoke with was personable, but the overall process felt disjointed and amateurish. After being encouraged to apply for another role, I expected at least a conversation or a personalised update rather than an automated rejection a month later. If a role is exploratory, part of future hiring plans, or no longer available, I'd much rather know that upfront. Clear communication and consistent follow-up would have made for a much better candidate experience. Visa is a company with a strong reputation, so this hiring process was disappointing. You can do better.

Everyone was lovely, but long process. Talent acquisition team out of Singapore are hard to get hold of, you don’t get contact details which makes it hard to follow up.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Visa Inc. in Nov 2025

      Interview

There were four interview rounds—peer, associated team, hiring manager, and senior director—each lasting about 30 minutes. The interviewers were punctual, patient, and friendly, making the process itself positive. However, it has been nearly a month with no follow-up from HR, which significantly impacted the overall experience due to the lack of closure.
