The worst interview I ever had. Shocking... shame on you Volvo Cars! I was contacted by nice recruitment coordinator who scheduled two interviews. The first one was on Friday with senior mobile developer and the second was with lead architect. The first one was not bad but the interviewer did not spend a minute reading my CV. He asked me questions like do you have a github? it is the first 2 lines in my CV ... anyway it went ok and by the end, I was given a task to complete. The second one was a complete disaster. It was on following Monday with lead architect who scheduled the interview while he was at airport waiting for his flight. It was noisy and only a skype audio call. I could not hear him very well. He did not read my CV and does not know anything about me and told me he has 20 minutes for me before his flight will depart. The interview was not about the mobile development but was about design patterns, embedded system, other programming languages I know, DevOps... etc.. The first question was how I did find this position? Next day, Tuesday, I received email saying I was rejected for the position before I had the chance to submit the task from the first interview, I worked on it weekend and Monday and was going to submit it on Wednesday ... one day after I was rejected. Shame on you Volvo Cars Gothenburg.. complete lack of respect.
