Interview
The interview process started with an initial phone screening by HR where they asked about my background, work experience, and interest in the role. This was followed by a technical interview with the Quality Manager and a panel interview with the cross-functional team. They focused on problem-solving, quality tools like 8D and FMEA, and scenarios related to root cause analysis. The final round was behavioral, based on STAR-format questions about teamwork, challenges, and communication.

I explained that I begin with immediate containment to prevent further issues, followed by gathering data through inspection reports and process observation. I use tools like the 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagram to identify root causes. Then I collaborate with the production and engineering teams to develop and implement a corrective action plan, ensuring it’s tracked through CAPA. I emphasized the importance of validating the solution and documenting the lessons learned.
