I went through two interviews and was at the store for almost 2 hours. Was pretty painless but took forever. Store manager was rather nice but definitely didn’t describe the job well
I applied online. I interviewed at Von Maur in Apr 2013
Interview
Not tough at all, and there is a reason for that. There is so much turnover, they are desperate for employees. Stores are very understaffed. There are many times that one person is covering multiple departments. It takes months for employees that have resigned to be replaced, because many people have heard poor reviews of working for Von Maur. For a store that says is prime objective is customer service, an understaffed store is not the way to provide it!
