I applied on-line. The HR Manager called me and left a message that I could talk to any manager who was working. I called back and left a message with main phone line because no one at Von Maur has voicemail including the HR Manager. A gentleman called me back and then said he needed to call me back a few minutes later. Several hours later he called me back. I was not available to take the call. I called him back and he was not able to talk so I asked him if we could set up a time to talk and we set up a specific time. He was more than two hours late calling. Needless to say I was not impressed with Von Maur's interview process. When you set up a specific time to phone interview someone, it's unprofessional not to call them on time or at least make a quick saying you will need to reschedule.
