Interview
After being a barista for a couple of months at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, I decided it was time to part ways with them due to low hours+pay. My local store had a Starbucks Kiosk in it, so I thought I'd apply for it just to see what would happen. I didn't see a for hiring sign indoors so I went online to apply at the company website. The online application process was easy and basic. I put it in on a Tuesday night and got a call for an interview on Friday for the following day. The interview had basic questions pertaining to customer service, friendliness, and general interview questions compared to a more Starbucks-oriented one. Just smile and laugh and they will love you. The manager made me feel real comfortable and in the end I was hired on the spot.
