Both interviewers were candid and comfortable pacing. What's somewhat frustrating is, while we "came across well and performed impressively, on this occasion", they "have identified candidates with more relevant experience for the role at hand". I have just graduated from university last year fyi.
Question is then, if companies aren't willing to take chances on fresh grads with what they can offer, how do younglings learn? Similarly, with the initial emails setting up a conversation, there was talks of a second interview with a test on assessing interviewee's ability to do a "small research project". This did not even surface during said interview.
