I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Saint Louis, MO) in Apr 2014
Interview
Best Interview I have ever been on. It was a seated interview with the pharmacy manager and the store manager. They asked basic interview questions and I got to know a bit of information about them. The interview was an hour long because they asked the questions and I was detailed in my answers. They also knew where I worked previously so this was a huge plus in my favor.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and where do you see yourself in five years? Basic interview questions.
Awful the guy decided he wasn’t going to give me the job even before I sat down claimed the position wasn’t a Pharmacy Technician position even though it clearly listed those duties.
I applied online. I interviewed at Walgreens (Wheeling, IL) in Jun 2026
Interview
I applied online and was contacted to schedule an interview. The interview was straightforward and mostly focused on my availability, customer service experience, teamwork, and why I wanted to work in a pharmacy setting. They asked behavioral questions about handling difficult customers, working with coworkers, and staying organized in a busy environment. The pharmacist interviewed me and was professional, explained the role, expectations, and next steps clearly. The store manager was also present and took notes. I am still waiting to hear back about an offer.

Interview
They called me asking when I was available to interview. I went in for a half hour interview with the pharmacy manager. It felt pretty comfortable and conversational and he told me a lot about the training process since I didn’t have experience.
