I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (Colorado Springs, CO) in Apr 2015
Interview
I applied online, had to come in the next week to take a test, then was interviewed the next week and offered the job at the end. It only took about 20 minutes from the time I walked in until I was hired. Very easy questions. Just a prompt basically, asking you about different customer situations you've handled, if you have retail experience, what you would do if faced with ...*fill in the blank*...? Simple, easy process. The only thing that was hard was when I came in to take the test, they put me at the counter on a computer in front of the photo lab, so everyone thought I was an employee and would ask me questions, and the employees talked really loudly around me while I was trying to concentrate. I have a friend who works at Walgreens and said that her store puts everyone in the back room to do the test by themselves, so they're not distracted.

They took me to the office to ask why I was interested in the job and my qualifications. It was very short and was only about 6 questions. I was in high school at the time so they did ask about my studies and work time balance.
The Walgreens interview process was really easy—quick questions, relaxed vibe, and they mostly focused on availability and customer service. It didn’t feel stressful at all. it was over the phone as well
