You first give your interest to your store manager. When a position opens up then you apply to the district manager and they review your employee profile. If selected for the next step you will receive a face to face interview with the district manager and 2 of the other store managers in the district.

The interview was definately more analytical than most store manager opportunities, and was really focusing on marketplace trends and not at all on overall good fit for company culture or teams
The DM was nice and professional. Was transparent in his questions and wanted feedback from me. Up front with the condition of the store he was thinking of putting me in and asked if I was up for the challenge.
