The interview was great. The gentleman who called me asked if I was available that day to come in and have a chat, and I told him happily "Yes!", while jumping into my car and hurtling down the freeway. When I got there, I found him to be a polite, compassionate, fair individual who really loved what he did, and wanted to help make a difference in the lives of others, whether it was for convenience, or just to make them feel like customers had a safe place to come and shop. He talked on end about the store's great community, and asked many questions about my personal experiences in regards to customer service, and how it affected my outlook on work. He told me numerous funny tales about his own record as a clerk, and how it had brought him to his current general management position, and what he had learned. Overall, this might've been simultaneously the most enlightening, and engaging interview I've ever been in. It made me love everything about the job initially, even if I hated the job once I got there, and he left.
