I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walgreens in Nov 2015
Interview
I began by filling out the online application. At the end of the online application it states that you must go in to the store to fill out the rest of the application. I suggest going in to the store that you are hoping to get the job at, as that is what I did. When I went in the in store portion was pretty easy. It was questions about basic cashier math and general pharmacy knowledge. About two days after going in to finish the application I recieved a call from the store manager to come in for an interview. I went in and the interview was very short. He introduced me to a few of the mangers and asked me about four questions. Then he offered me the job on the spot contigent upon passing the required background and drug test. I went in the next day for the drug test and a day later he called back to say I got the job.

Focused on customer oriented skills - desired you to have a PTCB certification - interview itself was very minimal, more just basic questions about yourself and it seemed like you were going to get hired from the start even without the interview.
It took 15 minutes, went very smoothly as the person interviewing me made sure I was comfortable and it was not awkward. I recommend working here if you are a student looking for part time work
