The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (San Jose, CA) in Feb 2011
Interview
Thought the interviewing process was pretty simple, sent in my resume online, got a call a few weeks later talking about setting up an interview. The interview went pretty well, and this was my first interview ever. The guy was very relaxed, asking straight forward questions, never really making me feel stressed out. Often times we would just talk about random events or what happened in college. Overall, i enjoyed it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Walgreens (Green Bay, WI)
Interview
I net with the district manager. Then 3-4 months later a store manager. I was hired at the end of the interview. Both interviews were very informal and did not ask difficult questions. They were just looking for warm bodies to close the store. My interview preparation was unnecessary. The sore manager did help me find and apartment.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens
Interview
I was interviewed by two Store Managers. Questions were scenario based. I asked questions relating to the position as we went along. Be confidant and speak clearly. Remember, they want to hire you because they need to fill the position, give them a reason to do so. Its and interview not an interrogation so ask questions and view it as a conversation.
