      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at WalkMe

      Interview

Initial Recruiter Screening: A first introductory call with the recruiter to discuss the role alignment, your professional background, and basic expectations. Hiring Manager Sync: A second, deeper technical and cultural conversation with the hiring manager to evaluate team fit and core competencies. Take-Home Evaluation: A comprehensive hands-on technical exercise coupled with a dedicated AI assignment to showcase your practical problem-solving skills. Panel Interview & Review: A final panel presentation and discussion focused on reviewing your home task solutions and technical methodology. Making it to the Panel Interview after weeks of processes and days of hard work learning their software just to be dismissed with a template with no constructive feedback, even after asking. Very, very disrespectful. During the Panel Interview a second person joined the meeting late, without even introducing himself and just randomly asking questions. I didn't even notice him since I was sharing my screen and showing the tool I created. Very awkward moment and honestly I felt right away that it was a no. Didn't even put the effort as he seemed annoyed to be there. Maybe he had a bad day. Pity! Everything went smooth until that moment. I think ive never been so disappointed during an application process.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, and for the significant effort you put into our interview process. A take-home assignment, panel preparation, and weeks of your time deserve to be met with respect and genuine engagement, and we're sorry that wasn't your experience. The interaction you described during the panel, including someone joining late without introducing himself and appearing disengaged, falls short of how we want every candidate to feel throughout our process. We're taking this feedback seriously and addressing it internally. Every candidate who reaches the panel stage has earned thoughtful, constructive feedback, if they want it. If you're interested, we'd genuinely welcome the chance to connect with you privately so we can share the specific feedback you asked for and were never given. Please feel free to reach out to us directly at Communications@WalkMe.com.
