I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR) in Oct 2012
Interview
Behavioral Interview Process, Multiple Interviewers, typically one full day. Offer a community tour to give you an idea of the Bentonville area, which isn't as bad as one would think. Interviewers typically include the peers of the role, supervisor, supervisor peers, HR and/or Recruiter, as well as the department leader.

Describe a situation when you needed to solve a problem on your own.
Straightforward. Easy application. 39 minute interview and asked me questions about why I wanted the job and my education and experience. Interesting topics. Fairly fine. Did not find difficult and interview was engaging.
Very great and easy process. Questions were basic interview questions and were easy to answer. I would recommend knowing a little bit about the company before you walk into the interview
Interview process consisted of behavioral questions and scenarios , technical questions and scenarios (depending on the role) and questions and scenarios specific to Walmart's business, values, cultural and overall fit with team.
