Interview
I got reached by 3rd part company recruiting to Walmart in Canada. I informed them that I already have an offer and currently in final stage with other companies and informed them of the minimum salary to move forward, I got answer back that they are ok with that and very exited to move forward after looking into my CV. Passed first round of interview, got the manager interview scheduled before my last technical interview. The manager was late like 10 minutes and then he started to ask me personal questions, like how much am currently making, which companies am interviewing with and what are the offers I got. I of course declined to provide such info. Then he informed me that they actually looking for a contractor and not full-time for senior while they think I don't qualify to staff position because I don't have more than 10 years of experience (even before finishing interview) and that they can't match current offer. I refused to do final round and called it a day. Pretty bad manager wasted my time.
It was good... standard questions.
Most around java , spring . The interviewer gave honest feedback and right answer and also the scope of improvement. Three round of interviews followed by salary discussion seems to be a standard process. It might stretch to more rounds based on need.

Interview
Had a Karat interview today. The engineer was super smart and nice, and explained the whole process clearly. We started with ReactJS questions, but I'm pretty new to it, so that was tough. Luckily, the interviewer was really cool about it and didn't make me feel bad.
Then we moved on to coding. The question was a good one – not super easy, but definitely solvable. I think I came up with a solid approach, and we even talked about how efficient it was.
Overall, it was a good experience. Even though I struggled with the React part, I felt respected and appreciated. Definitely a positive vibe!

Second round- Core Android discussion.It was good, interviewer was patient and welcoming.
