Application
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Burbank, CA) in Sep 2015
Interview
After applying online and waiting two months (while the website tracked my application status), I was called for an interview, either over Skype or in person. I chose the in-person interview and drove to meet the manager, who walked me around the facility and showed me everything about the position. Everyone was extremely polite and treated me like a professional. There was no awkwardness and the process was overwhelmingly comfortable. After the interview, I waited approximately one week, then received a phone call asking if I would like the position. I happily accepted.

Question 1
Where am I hoping to end up at the company after the internship?
Very friendly and not at all what I expected. There are recruiters who are the ones that get your resume on the hiring manager’s desk if your initial screening goes well.

Interview
The interview was conducted on the phone. The interviewer was enthusiastic and has a positive attitude. The phone screen basically asks behavioral questions. After phone screen, a hiring manager will reach out to you for an interview.

Interview
In the early phases of the application process there is very little communication for long stretches at a time. If you are selected for phone interview (preliminary screening) you will talk to someone from Human Resources, not the team with which you will be working. If you are selected for to go farther they will offer an in-person interview or a video-chat interview. Disney has the pick of the litter, so they can afford to make you wait and be selective.
