I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (New York, NY) in Aug 2020
Interview
2-stage process in 2020. Pre-screen with recruiter and 3 person panel. Got the sense the team was disorganized and/or new. They seemed to be making it up as they went along.
The person was very Unprofessional and not on time . The interview process and questions where vague. Some questions where just not appropriate. It was a very short interview cause I hung up.

Interview
The interview process started when I was contacted on LinkedIn by a friendly and professional recruiter who had reviewed my profile. I was very interested. After an initial phone screen, there were some back and forth phone calls and emails for about a week to arrange a video interview with a senior level engineer/manager. During this time, I was instructed to complete an on-line application, which was an agonizing 2-hour long process of basically entering my resume into a data base. After the video interview, there was about a week of silence until I followed up, after which I was informed I would be needed onsite for a FULL DAY interview. The interview schedule was changed once, and I received one email in a white font that I could only read by highlighting the text..strange. In-person Interview consisted of meeting separately with friendly and very senior level Disney engineers and one manager. Interview concluded by recruitment person asking my desired salary and talking up the company and there was a comment about how there had been "so many" recruits. I thought the interview went well until the end when I knew I was probably out of contention when asked a very detailed ride design question (I have no ride design experience). I didn't hear back until I explicitly followed up with a recruiter who told me "they went with someone else".
