The interview process was smooth - first a phone screen with the HR recruiter for about 30 minutes who just wanted a sense of my background and my interest in the position/company. Then within 2 days a Skype interview was set up with the department Director, who asked more in depth questions about my experience and essentially went through my entire resume. A final interview round was set up on site with several people within the department. Everyone I spoke to (both in HR and the department) were so pleasant and I enjoyed meeting everyone. The recruiter and hiring manager initially were very informative and made sure to keep me informed of where they were at in each step of the process. When it finally came down to the week I was told a decision would me made, I was never contacted. I sent a quick follow up to the recruiter, but suddenly she was unresponsive. Overall, I rated the interview experience as positive (because it definitely was!), but I would've really appreciated the transparency I experienced at the beginning all the way through to the end by just letting me know I was not selected for the position.
