Met for less than 10 minutes with a recruiter. She seemed disinterested, perhaps overwhelmed. I had almost over-prepared myself for this role, which was essentially a front desk greeter - not what I had anticipated from the job description, which alluding to more planning aspects. I wish they had led with the job description rather than a basic overview of myself. Felt like a hard left turn when she mentioned what I’d actually be doing. I felt overqualified, and did not get a second interview with the team or panel.
