I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets (Hanover, NJ) in Aug 2018
Interview
I applied online. Then they called to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty easy and I did well. A few days later I got a call to set up an in person interview. The in person interview started out well in the beginning. There were first simple questions about me as a person. Then difficult questions started to be asked. They asked a lot of “tell me a time when...” questions and some of them I couldn’t think of an answer to because they were worded difficultly. Two days later I got an email that I didn’t get the job. I was really hoping to get the job because I’m 15 and Wegmans is one of the few places that hires 15 year olds. All the interviewers were nice though but the process was rigorous for just a cashier position. The example questions confused me. I suppose the experience was negative because I didn’t get the job.
