It’s pretty fast. The process took no time at all back in the day but now they practically hire you on the spot. Managers are guaranteed to come and go.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Weis Markets (Hillsborough, NJ) in Aug 2013

The interview was easy. Made me feel like anyone could get the job with or without the basic skills, math, reading or writing. There was no skills test to measure person knowledge of the job. It didn't even feel like an interview just. A walk in , your hired and take what they give you or leave. They did tell you what you might be doing, it could change if they felt like changing it. No union talk allowed.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Weis Markets (Wellsboro, PA)
Interview
Terrible! The administer a survey "tescor" that they claim is supposed to weed out the criminals/thieves/drug addicts, yet every dishonest person passes this useless survey! They are supposed to do reference checks, yet the majority of these references are falsified. During the interview process, they treat you like an inconvenience.
