Submitted a resume via online application and surprisingly within a couple of hours I received a calendar invite to schedule an interview. Phone call went well, she asked a lot of pertinent questions and felt I was a strong candidate for the role they had been trying to fill. She said I would hear from the hiring manager for another interview within a week. A week went by and I didn't hear anything, so I followed up with an email to check on the job status. She was very polite in her response and said she hadn't heard anything from the hiring manager since she was away on vacation but would circle back when she speaks with her. That was over 2 months ago and still haven't heard anything good or bad and the job is still posted on their web site. I politely tried one other time to get an update and didn't even get a response, so I gave up trying to communicate. They should at least send an email back saying something instead of just ghosting people especially when the interview concludes with "don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions about the role or the copany".
