Had an online assessment, successfully passed, and am now moving forward to a recruiter phone interview. The process has been smooth so far, with clear communication and timely updates from the recruiting team.

I applied for the position at the end of January 2024, I received an invite to interview from a Wells Fargo recruiter at the beginning of April and scheduled my interview promptly. The interview was just a panel interview with two Wells Fargo employees that went over behavioral and some "technical" questions.
I reached out to friends and connections who are currently engineer associates and they told me to expect to wait 2-3 weeks for a response. I never got a response. Never even got a rejection. Insanely unprofessional recruiters. They flat out ghosted me after interviewing. Wells Fargo needs to re-assess their recruiters and fire the ones that don't treat potential candidates with the respect they deserve.

Question 1
Describe how you would code an algorithm to create a string from two random strings.
The first round was a one hour HackerRank online assessment with several multiple choice questions as well as two coding questions. I did not make it to the next round after completing the OA.

Interview
As soon as I submitted the application, I received an email for the online assessment via HackerRank. The assessment consisted of 7 MCQs and 2 coding tests. The MCQs were general CS questions, including reading and debugging code, RESTful APIs fundamentals, and SQL queries. The coding tests were LC easy to med questions.
