I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wendy's (Roseville, CA) in Jun 2011
Interview
It was an open interview and they were hiring a whole new staff. The manager was very pleasant and she asked several questions and then told me a little bit about Wendy's, like their dress code, what position she was hiring for, and she explained what hours we would be working from. I felt like I aced the interview because she seemed to like my answers. She told me to call her on the next following Monday and so I did. She told me that she had already hired people, but told me to try again next week because she would be hiring more. I called again and she told me she was not hiring. I gave up. I really don't know why I wasn't hired. It was a shock to me considering the fact that I had been prepared and even dressed appropriately while other interviewees came in late and hadn't even filled out the application yet.
the process was straightforward - i met with the manager and was asked basic questions about myself and my job history. I was asked about my customer service experience in particular.

Question 1
One question they asked was about my experience in customer service
It was average fast food chain type of interview, it was easy & asking basic questions like availability and cashier experience. You’ll pretty much get in if you can do basic math
My interview process with Wendy’s was straightforward and friendly. I was contacted quickly, asked about my experience and availability, and the conversation was relaxed and welcoming. The interviewer explained the role and expectations clearly.
