I was contacted by an internal recruiter from another state, informing me of the job opening, and was soon after put in contact with Human Resources. I was notified several days later that the team had selected another candidate who was already interviewed, and so I was being removed from consideration for the job. Soon after that, I was contacted by the recruiter again, who informed me that HR would like to speak to me about another position. It turned out to be the same job title. I spoke with an HR representative over the phone, at which point I was asked to come to the office for an interview. HR ended up canceling and rescheduling my interview twice due to "scheduling conflicts" with the interviewers before I was finally able to come in. 3 weeks after the original confirmed interview date, I came to the office and met with 5 different interviewers. The interview itself was a mostly pleasant experience, with the exception of one interviewer who was unprofessional and condescending. A fellow interviewer even gave disapproving looks after some of the statements made. After the interview, I was told they would be in touch. About a week later, I received a call from HR to let me know that the team was not interested in extending me an offer, on the basis that they are looking for a candidate who is working toward a particular professional certification, and in a particular specialty. This is NOT what I was told during the interview, even after I specifically asked what certifications I would need. What they ultimately told me also contradicted the job title and job description that they showed me prior to the interview. I wish the team had decided what they were looking for before asking me to come in for an interview and providing misleading information. I would probably not apply to this company again.
