I first clarified if she meant accountability as in being accountable for your possessions, or accountability as it being on time and accounted for at work. She replied on time to work. I told her that being at work was extremely important to me and that it was unacceptable for me to miss work unless it was for a very good reason such as a death in the family, or a car accident. I also told her that I am always 10 minutes early to all my shifts and that this was a habit that 5 years in the military has instilled in me.
