Yeah, it was all downhill from there. Granted I had not interviewed for anything in a while, but this really set the tone for the interview and it was not good. Sure, they want to see how you work under pressure, but I don't feel this is a strong proxy for that trait. There were long periods of silence and the interviewer was pretty scattered. Maybe they had to fill in last minute or maybe this was their M.O.
