I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Whataburger (Phoenix, AZ) in Sep 2014
Interview
I applied online. Within two days I recieved a phone call for an interview. I walked in stated I was here for my interview, the cashier offered me a drink, & asked me to sit at a table & that the hiring manager would be right with me. The hiring manager was really cool. I filled out a paper application. Then I selected 5 characteristics about myself on another paper. The interview questions were a piece of cake. Seriously the easiest interview I've done. I got hired that day & went in the next day to do paper work.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Whataburger (Tallahassee, FL) in Jan 2026
Interview
I applied through Indeed, I assertively pursued an interview and secured one. The interview process went fine. I was hired, yet this is when things went south. I waited a few days expecting the follow up call to receive my onboarding info via email. I was supposed to do orientation that Friday. I do a follow up, the hiring manager was off no one else knew anything about it. I called back Saturday, was courteous and told that orientation would be pushed back to Sunday. Never received onboarding info still. Sunday morning I called asked what time orientation, it was moved to Monday, I'll email your onboarding. Still have yet to receive my onboarding paperwork. 😑 Dysfunctional to say the least. Unit 165

You go in and talk to hiring manager. There is nothing else to the prosses for interviewing for the job as it does not need anything else as it is a fast-food job.
Quick and easy. I would recommend my teenage cousins to apply because it was a good place for me to start working when I was young and the work is very simple and easy.
