I transitioned as a regular team member into the team lead role and didn’t really had to interview. I had a discussion with my manager and she trained on the skills I needed to succeed at the role I was taking up.
They'll schedule an interview with you and have you come in to the restaurant to talk with them. Mostly just asking about prior experience or why you are interested in the position.
Very easy very basic questions. Usually asks availability, if you have transportation, if you're in school or have another job to work around. Any specific days you need off. Nothing crazy
Did not get the job, was not old enough and so they could not legally have me on as a team leader, but otherwise I was qualfied and they were pretty friendly with me
