Interview
Was contacted through LinkedIn to apply for an analyst position. I applied, after submitting my resume the rest of the application process was asking for information that was already on my resume. A few days later the same person that contacted me through LinkedIn, called and texted me. Later that day I called back, and then texted with my best time to contact. He replied “could you please email me to remind me to call you tomorrow” I did this. The next morning, he emailed me, “could you please send me a copy of your resume and contact info” (keep in mind he has already messaged me on LinkedIn, emailed, called, and texted me) I sent a copy of my resume and pointed out my contact info was at the top. He calls me and first thing, asks what salary range I’m looking for. Gave him that info, and he told me that they are paying significantly under that range. That’s it, the whole “interview” lasted 1 minute. Best part, the entire minute of the interview he had a conference call on (loudly) in the background. Most unprofessional application and interview process I have ever had. Why waste days of back and forth, just email me the salary range, or better yet put it in the job posting. Worst first impression from a company I’ve ever had, will NEVER be applying for another job with Wheels Up.
