I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market in Jul 2009
Interview
The interview stages are: 1. either tagteam or one-on-one i-view with peer supervisors and/or shift leader. 2. panel interview. 3. background check. Only got to 1st stage. I was contacted within 5 hours of end of interview that I would not be granted a panel/group interview. Rejection contact was made by a separate person as fyi. Interviewers follow a script to ask questions about what you know about the culture of Whole Foods and your knowledge of organic foods. I was also asked about how often got raises in present job. I must assume that they base initial rejections on gut-feelings. I felt like I was carrying interview as the ones assigned to this task for me were not organically (yes I meant this pun) excited about their task. Perhaps I was brought in as a benchmark to evaluate against internal candidates. Their loss is all that I can say as I am not anxious to shop their anytime soon.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Philadelphia, PA) in Feb 2025

I was invited to be a Supervisor, so the interview it was just my TL and an ASTL. They asked my favorite leadership traits, how I would coach a team member that is doing a procedure wrong and how I would deal with an angry customer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Pasadena, CA) in Aug 2024
Interview
I applied about a month and took them about three weeks to reach out to set up an interview. The interview went well to my knowledge. It only took 10 minutes or so. The questions weren't challenging. I didn't get the position, but it was a learning experience.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
If a team member has problems with the Team Leader and overhear the team member saying negative comments. What are the steps you would take to handle the situation?
The interview process was detailed. Depending on the store location, you have to complete due diligence, create an action plan, and then interview with store leadership , other supervisors and a couple team members. Get prepared for a good bunch of folks but just being yourself, being honest, and having personality will help the process.
