I applied sunday morning and I received a call later that evening to see if I was still interested with the job. I told them I was and scheduled a 1 on 1 tuesday afternoon. I waited in their cafe with a name tag (which it felt awkward because other people were there that were not for the interview). I introduced myself and we went to the conference room. Now my interview was to be a cashier, but I knew beforehand they were looking for produce team members as well so I upwelled my produce knowledge (I worked at Trader Joe's for two years). We went through the usual questions and told me she would forward me to the Produce TL. It's good to do your research and show your passion for food! While I was waiting for him she told me I got the job as a cashier but if the TL likes me for produce I have the option to go to them. The second interview was not that intimidating (I told him my love for locally grown kale and tomatoes) and Now I'm waiting for my hiring package!
