I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Tucson, AZ) in Jan 2013
Interview
They were opening a new store, was asked to interview at one of their other locations. They asked about my previous job, why I wanted to work for them etc, all the basic stuff. Incredibly easy interview conducted by team leaders followed immediately by one with the assistant store manager to be. Was asked to tell them about a difficult situation at a previous job and what I did to overcome it. Easiest interview I've ever had.
Interview process is straightforward and easy. The questions asked are your basic questions and nothing out of the ordinary. They are not there to stump you on anything. Just show up looking decently presentable and you’ll be fine.

Interview
Super easy and casual. You first meet 1 manger and then proceed in the next interview with the department manager. From there you if all goes well, you and extended an offer
Quite straightforward. No trick questions. Two different people interviewed me. One was my department leader and the other was the store leader. They were clear that the job was quite demanding and physical.
