One of the most positive, organized hiring experiences I’ve had. I applied to Windsor’s E-Comm Copywriter position on LinkedIn and the whole process took about two weeks. Carmen, their personable HR coordinator, emailed me shortly after I sent over my app and kindly kept closely in touch through the entire thing! There was a HR screening phone interview, then the next round was visiting their HQ and meeting the e-comm director, merch manager, long-time copywriter and the president of e-comm. Everyone was super-friendly and obviously passionate about their work at Windsor and the space was cute and modern. There was definitely a fun-loving vibe in the office, and the interviews were more conversational than “interview-y”. It was clear they wanted to see how my personality and values would fit with the team. Carmen and I emailed later that day and she said she would follow-up with any feedback as soon as she could (good sign!); shortly after I received an offer call! At this time I was applying to multiple jobs, however, Windsor’s hiring process was not only the smoothest, but the quickest. Many employers miss out on good candidates due to clunky and slow HR departments, but you can tell that Windsor quickly identifies a great fit when they see one. I can’t wait for my first day!
