Wisk Senior Engineer interview questions

Interview process included a phone screen, video call with hiring manager, and then a half-day of interviews with engineers that worked on the program. The engineers included those that were employed directly by Wisk, by a related Boeing subsidiary, and those directly by Boeing. I was also asked to prepare a presentation for the half-day of interviews. Interviews with Wisk and Boeing subsidiary engineers were tough but fair. They were pleasant interviews. They basically honed a single topic listed on the job description and I wasn't fully prepared for the depth of their questions. It seemed like they were looking for certain expertise, and I wasn't a fit. However, the interviews with the Boeing employees were odd. It seemed as if they were wasting time and had formed their hiring decision prior to talking to me. They asked questions about my previous experience that were only marginally related to the job description, which probably meant they were present to provide the more holistic evaluation of me. But my interviews with them felt disconnected from the job itself and their apprehensiveness towards me was off-putting.
