I applied online. I interviewed at Wistia (Boston, MA) in Mar 2021
Interview
Unprofessional experience. After initial interview rounds Wistia asked for my availability to speak with the Senior Product Manager and requested I provide specific availability and I never heard from them again. Definitely was concerned at the disorganized company culture at Wistia - this is not "fast-paced," it's simply a hot mess and inconsiderate to candidates taking time from their busy schedules.
After being contacted by the recruiter I went through several rounds of interviews. However mid process I was ghosted. After so much emphasis on your culture it’s clear to see that that culture doesn’t extend to candidates
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wistia (Boston, MA) in Mar 2019
Interview
Applied online, got a somewhat slow response back throughout the process. However, the real issue was at the end of the process, when I got an automated response telling me I wasn't moving forward. I felt that after 3 rounds an actual email was justified, and that an automated email at that point was rude and unprofessional. Also, from looking at their website, they don't seem to have anyone at the company over the age of 35. This is important for anyone wanting to work with an older, more established workforce, and who need mentors. I recommend they hire some adults.
