Two phone interviews with a recruiter that didn't have any surprises. She was helpful and friendly. Then I was interviewed by a panel consisting of the supervisors I worked under. It was fairly relaxed, and I felt like they were engaged in the process. They asked about my resume and experience using Mathematica. They told me about their motivation for the project (related to data curation). They also explained the class of questions they wanted to expand Wolfram Alpha to answer, which I would be contributing to. Had a take-home exercise task related to data curation that directly related to my tasks as an intern. They were helpful enough to clarify some questions along the way.
